The USA 50/50 Challenge: Top Ten States

People continuously ask me which were the best states, hoping that theirs made the cut.

I've come up with my top ten based on my experiences during The USA 50/50 Challenge, again in alphabetical order.

California

All of the USA can be found in this one state: mountains, ocean, rainforest, high desert; you name it, it’s got it.

Idaho-1.png

Idaho

This state possesses the most stunning scenery, the most eco-friendly capitol city and the inhabitants live for the great outdoors.

Louisiana-1.png

Louisiana

It holds the most European city in the USA, has great culture in Cajun Country and knows how to party like no-one else.

Maine-1.png

Maine

The northernmost state with an amazing coastline, dotted with thousands of islands and peopled with unique characters.

Minnesota-1.png

Minnesota

Many are cold, but few are frozen. Minnesota was diverse, surprising and just fabulous.

North Carolina-1.png

North Carolina

A warm, generous and welcoming state where food is love and they love big.

Oklahoma-1.png

Oklahoma

Some of the nicest, friendliest, most unflappable people you’ll ever meet. OKC made the top ten cities and Tulsa has its own charm.

Tennessee-1.png

Tennessee

A beautiful, green state that encompasses two timezones and owns country music.

Utah-1.png

Utah

From top to bottom it’s a remarkable state, with the diverse geography of canyons, alpine mountains and great salt lakes.

Virginia-1.png

Virginia

A green and lush state, with history in abundance and a refined Southern grace that is inherent not adopted.
